Born in the '60s, my musical DNA is a kaleidoscope of genres. I’ve been shaped by a massive range of influences—from the progressive rock of Pink Floyd and the boundary-pushing artistry of Prince, to the trip-hop vibes of Portishead, the heavy underground rhythms of Metalheadz, and the legendary Bob Marley (with whom I’m proud to share a birthday).
My journey behind the decks started in the mid-'80s, right as the historic UK rave scene was exploding. Alongside my good friend Mark Galvin, I spent years spinning at clubs, packed house parties, and legendary underground events.
Eventually, the urge to create my own sounds outweighed just playing other people's records. I completed a sound engineering course and found my launchpad at Music City (now the Musicomplex). That pivotal space is where I truly learned the craft of engineering and began collecting the gear needed to produce my own tracks.
And now, here we are.
Because my roots run so deep across different styles, you'll find an eclectic mix of sounds here. Hit "Play All" on the player below to take a trip through my musical world. Enjoy the ride...
